Inna Pecar attained a Masters in Education in Ukraine and a Masters of Social Work from Indiana University and has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 1998. In 1999, Inna followed her heart into international adoption and continues to maintain a great passion for placing children domestically and internationally. Her devotion to the children is evident to all families who work with KidsFirst, and she works tirelessly to assure the success of every adoption. Inna generally makes herself available around the clock to address the questions and concerns of those who work with KidsFirst.
Inna and Steve both feel fortunate to do something that they absolutely love. For over 20 years, they have provided placement through domestic and international adoptions. They have met so many incredible families and feel blessed to have been able to help so many children. The trust that families put in KidsFirst and the responsibility of placing each child is not taken lightly. We deeply appreciate the connections that have been made with families and children we have worked with, now and as they continue to grow.
We are incredibly proud of our team! For all of us, the children are our highest priority. We put all of our heart into ensuring that families will be supported at all times throughout the adoption process and that children are placed into the best care possible. We value transparent communication between families and KidsFirst staff. We fully understand and are prepared to deal with all the circumstances that arise with adopting a child. We appreciate the trust that you place in us.
Our team includes:
Kim was our first adoptive parent and is now a part of our team. Kim conducts home study and post-placement services and works with biological parents and adoptive parents during the adoption processes, both domestic and international. As an adoptive parent and social worker, Kim is dedicated to the families that she serves and brings lots of experience through her personal and professional journey.
Jill is a young social worker who recently graduated, and we are excited to have her on the team. She started at KidsFirst as an intern and has impressed us with her passion for children looking for their“forever” families. Jill advocates for children who are available for adoption and works with biological parents considering an adoption plan. She also maintains all of our social media.
KidsFirst Foundation: Our nonprofit organization is focused on providing better lives for orphaned children around the world. Funds raised provide basic humanitarian needs to orphanages, and create a network of support for the families of adopted children. Email us here.
